Crochet Hook Size 6 or 1.80 mm
Cluster: Yo, insert hook in third ch from hook, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on
hook, yo, insert hook in same ch, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook, yo and
draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Beginning Shell: Ch 3, (counts as first dc), (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp.
Shell: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-3 sp.
Rnd 1: (right side): With A, ch 2, 8 sc in second ch from hook, join with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 6, work cluster, (dc in next sc, ch 3, work cluster) 7 times; join with sl st to thrid ch fo
beginning ch-6, finish off. 8 clusters.
Rnd 3: With right side facing, join B with sl st in same st as joining; ch 7, tr in same st, ch 3, work
cluster, * (tr, ch 3) twice in next dc, work cluster; repeat from * around; join with sl st to fourth ch of
beginning ch-7, finish off: 8 clusters and 8 ch-3 sps.
Rnd 4: With right side facing, join A with sl st in first ch-3 sp to left of joining; work beginning shell, ch
3, (work shell, ch 3) around; join with sl st to first dc, finish off: 8 shells and 8 ch-3 sps.
Rnd 5: With right side facing, join C with sl st in any ch-3 sp; work beginning shell, ch 1, (sc, ch 3, sc) in
next ch-2 sp, ch 1, * work shell, ch 1, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1; repeat from * around; join with
sl st to first dc: 8 shells and 16 sc.
