2 Yds 1/8” Wide Peach Satin Ribbon
2 Peach Coloured Daisies

Finished Size Approximately 7” across to opening x 3” deep
Basket:
Rnd 1: With crochet cotton, ch 6, join to form a ring, ch 3, 15 dc in ring, sl st to join. (16)

Handle:
Row 1: Ch 8, dc in 3rd ch from hook, ch 4, sk 4 chs, 2 dc in last ch, turn.

Row 3: Ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 4, dc in next 2 dc, turn.
Rep rows 2 and 3 until handle measures 11 inches from beg, fasten off.
Finishing:
Saturate basket and handle with fabric stiffener. Place basket over container, shape and
allow to dry completely. Place handle on flat surface and allow to dry completely.
When handle is dry, weave a length of ribbon through center at ch sps. Sew handle with
sewing needle and thread, to inside edges of basket. Divide remaining ribbon in half.
Make two bows and attach one to each side of handle at outside edge. Glue a daisy to
each side above bows.
