working in free loops of beginning ch, sc in last 3 chs; join: 10 sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in same st and in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in each fo next 3 sc, sc in
next 2 sc, 2 sc in last sc; join: 16 sc.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in same st, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, (2 sc in next sc,
sc in next sc) 3 times, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in last sc; join: 22 sc.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same st and in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc,
sc in next 4 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) 3 times, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in last sc; join,
finish off
Head: Join black to last st, (sc, hdc) in same st, 2 dc in next 2 sc, (hdc, sc, sl st) in next sc;
finish off.
Back Stripe: With black ch 12; finish off leaving an 8" end. With wrong side of stripe up,
sew to center of body.
