Face: With pink ch 3, join to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 11 dc in ring; join, finish off: 12 dc.
Rnd 2: Join red, ch 1, 2 sc in same st and in next 5 dc, (ch 1, sc in next dc)6 times, ch
1; join, ch 4, turn.
Beard: Sc in first ch-1 sp, (ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp) 6 times; finish off: 7 loops.
Hat: Join green in 3rd sc above beard.
Row 1: Ch 3, dc in next 6 sc; ch 1, turn: 7 dc.
Row 2: Dc 2 together, dc in next 3 dc, dc 2 together; ch 1, turn: 5 dc.
