Materials: Chunky Weight Fur Yarn 1 50 gm or 1.75 oz ball
100% Nylon Crochet Thread Size 10
Crochet Hook Sizes G or 4 mm and K or 6.5 mm
Tapestry Needle
1 Pkg Crystal Fancy Mix Beads 60 g per pkg
Special Stitches: V Stitch - (dc, ch 1, dc) in st indicated.
Scarf
Row 1: Holding 1 strand each of yarn and thread together, with size K hook ch 15, dc in 5th ch from
hook (first 4 chs count as first dc and ch-1), [ch 1, sk next ch, dc in next ch] across, turn. (7 dc, 6 ch-1
sps)
Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), sk next ch sp, [dc in next dc, ch 1, sk next ch sp] 5 times, dc
in 3rd ch of ch-4 (7 dc, 6 ch-1 sps)
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as first dc throughout) V-st in each of next 5 dc, dc in 3rd ch of next ch-4, turn. (5
V-sts, 2 dc)
Row 4: Ch 4, dc in ch-1 sp of next V-st, [ch 1, dc in ch-1 sp of next V-st] 4 times, ch 1, dc in 3rd ch of
ch-4, turn. (7 dc, 6 ch-1 sps)
Row 5-68: Rep rows 2-4 consecutively, ending with row 2. At end of last row, fasten off.
Fringe
Thread 25 beads onto thread using a larger sized bead as first and last beads and alternating sizes
as you thread the beads onto the thread (If threading is difficult, coat about 3/4" at end of thread with
glue or clear fingernail polish to stiffen the end and make threading easier)
Row 69: With G hook and thread, join with sc in first st of row 68, *(ch 20, pull up a bead, ch around
bead, ch 20, sc) in same st**, ch 20, pull up one bead, ch around bead, ch 20, sc in next st, rep from *
across, ending last rep at **. Fasten off. (25 fringe)
Thread 25 more beads onto thread in same manner as before.
Row 70: Working in starting ch on opposite side of row 1, rep row 69.
