Ladies Brimmed Hat
Materials: Knitting Worsted Weight Yarn 1 - 3 ½ oz Skein
Crochet Hook Size G or 4.50 mm
One Size Fits All
Gauge: 4 sc = 1”
Note: Work in continuous rnds. In other words, do not join end of each rnd with
sl st to first st. Instead, work first sc of next rnd directly into first sc of previous
rnd. Place marker to mark end of each rnd and transfer it up at end of each rnd.
Hat:
Ch 6, join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Work 8 sc in ring.
Rnd 2: Working through back loops only, work 2 sc in each sc --16 sc.
Rnd 3: Work as for rnd 2--32 sc.
Rnd 4: Working through back loops only work sc in each sc around.
Rnd 5: Working through back loops only, * work sc in each of next 3 sc, 2 sc in
next sc; repeat from * around--40 sc.
Rnd 6: Working through back loops only, * work sc in each of 4 sc, 2 sc in next
sc; rep from * around--48 sc.
Rnd 7: Working through back loops only, work sc in each sc around.
