Hummingbird Filet Runner
Materials: Size 20 Crochet Cotton 700 yds
Crochet Hook Size 12 or 0.75 mm
Ch 457 + 3 to turn (= first dc throughout) and refer to “How to Begin” diagram.
Row 1: Beg in 5th st from hook, work dc in each st across; ch 3, turn.
Row 2: Beg each row in 5th st from hook, work 1 solid mesh <sm> (=dc in each of 3 sts), 150 open
meshes <om> (=* 2 ch, sk 2 sts, dc in next st, rep from * 149 times more), 1 sm; ch 3, turn.
Row 3: Work 1 sm, 1 om, 148 sm (= * 2 dc in sp of om below, dc in next dc, rep from * 147 times more),
1 om, 1 sm; ch 3, turn.
Next Rows: Work as established following pat diagram and symbols of lacet stitch. On other side of
midline, work to correspond but reverse order of meshes; ch 3, turn each row. At end of row 77, fasten
off.
