Embellished Noel Wall Hanging or Table Runner
Materials: 2 - 450 yd balls Crochet Cotton
Steel Crochet Hook Size 9
Finished Size Approximately 14" x 43"
Ch 110, tr in 5th ch from hook, ch 2, sk 2 chs, tr in next
ch (sp made), tr in next 3 chs (block made), tr in next ch,
ch 2, sk next 2 chs (sp made). Work across bottom row
of reversing S-scrolls. At the end of row, ch 5, turn. Sk
next sp, tr over tr. To start a row with a block, ch 3, turn,
2 tr in sp, tr over tr.
Work the 114 rows of the chart. Do not fasten off at end,
turn.
Border:
* 5 tr in next tr, sc in next tr across top. Edge side with
blocks in dc. Rep from * around. For runner, join and
end off here. For hanging, attach and working across
top, * ch 10, sc in 3rd tr of next shell, rep from * across
top, ch 10 join to corner, fasten off.
Weave rod or dowel through ch 10 lps. Attach string to
ends of rod or dowel and hand.
