Materials: Pearl Cotton Size 5
Steel Crochet Hook Size 6 or 1.75 mm
Finished Size Approximately 1 ¾” wide; 1 pattern rep - 1 ¾”, 40 yds thread makes 12”
Row 1: Make ch longer than desired length, sc in 2nd ch from hook, * ch 5, skip 3 ch, sc in
next ch, rep from * across for length desired (multiple of 3 loops needed), ch 1, turn, cut
off excess ch about ½” from work.
Row 2: * [5 sc in next ch-5 loop] twice, 3 sc in next ch-5 loop, turn, [ch 5, sc in center sc of
next loop] twice, turn, 5 sc in next loop, 3 sc in next loop, turn, ch 5, sc in center sc of next
loop, turn, 5 sc in next loop, [2 sc in next loop] twice (making 5 sc in each loop), rep from *
across, fasten off.
Row 3: With right side facing attach thread to center sc of loop at tip of first point, * ch 4,
[skip next sc, tr in next sc] twice, tr in corresponding sc on next point, [skip next sc, tr in
next sc] twice, turn, tr in top of ch-4, ch 6, tr in loop just made, [ch 2, tr in same loop] 6
times, dc at base of ch-4, turn, sl st in next tr, sc in ch-2 space, [ch 3, sc in ext ch-2 space]
6 times, ch 3, sc in center sc of next loop (where tr was worked), rep from * across, fasten
off.
