Steel Crochet Hook Size 6 or 1.75 mm
Note: Lace may be made with any desired thread and appropriate hook.
Finished Size Approximately 2 ½” wide; 3 ½” (3 pattern repeats) require approximately 11
yds thread.
Row 1: Make ch slightly longer than desired length, sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 3, sc in
next ch, * ch 7, skip next 4 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, sc in next ch, rep from * across until row
1 reaches desired length and has an uneven number of ch-7 loops, ch 10, turn, cut off
excess ch.
Row 2: * [Sc, ch 3, sc] in next loop, ch 7, rep from * across, end with ch 5, dtr in last sc, ch
1, turn.
Row 3: [Sc, ch 3, sc] in loop just made, * ch 7, [sc, ch 3, sc] in next ch-7 loop rep from *
across, end last rep with sc in 4th ch of ch-10, ch 3, sc in next ch, ch 10, turn.
Rows 4-6: Rep rows 1, 3 and 2, at end of row 6 ch 8, turn.
Row 7: Sc in 3rd ch from hook (picot), [dtr, ch 3, sc in 3rd ch from hook] 5 times in first
