Cross Stitch Dishcloth
Materials: Cotton Worsted Weight Yarn 2 ½ oz
Crochet Hook Size G or 4.50 mm
Ch 42.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (41 sc)
Row 2: (right side): Ch 3 (counts as first dc) turn; work Cross sts across to last sc, dc in
last sc. (13 Cross sts)
Cross St: Skip next 2 sc, dc in next sc, ch 1, working around dc just made, dc in first
skipped sc.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each dc and in each ch-1 sp across.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until dishcloth measures approximately 9”, ending with row 3.
Edging: Ch 1, turn; sc evenly around, working 3 sc in each corner; join with sl st to first sc,
finish off.
