Block - Dc in next dc, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp, (dc in next dc); or dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc,
(dc in next dc).
Space - Dc in next dc, ch 2, sk next ch-2 sp, (dc in next dc); or dc in next dc, ch 2, sk next
2 dc, (dc in next dc).
Note: To begin each row: sk 1 ch-2 sp.
To end each row: ch 5, turn.
Ch 185.
Row 1: Dc in 5th ch from hook, * ch 2, sk next 2 ch, dc in next ch, rep from * across, ch 5,
turn.
Continue to work rows, with blocks and spaces according to graph; at end of last row, don
not fasten off.
Edging:
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 5 sc in corner sp, sc in each dc, or in end of each dc-row, 2 sc in each block,
around all 4 sides of mat, join.
Rnd 2: * (Ch 6, sc in 3rd ch from hook) picot, ch 3, sk next 5 st, sc in next st, rep from *
around, adjusting for corners, join to base of ch-6, fasten off.
Finishing:
