Materials: 575 Yds Crochet Cotton
Size 6 or 1.75 mm Steel Crochet Hook
Ch 176,
Row 1: Dc in 8th ch from hk, * ch 2, sk next 2 ch, dc in next ch, rep from * across. Ch 5, turn each row.
Row 2: Dc in next dc, * ch 2, dc in next dc, rep from * across.
Continue in this manner following chart as follows:
- each space–dc, ch 2, dc
- X–dc
- each X thereafter is 3 additional dc
- there should be 57 spaces across and 94 rows in length.
Edging:
Rnd 1: Work 2 sc in each sp and sc in each dc to corner, in corner sp work 5 sc, continue around in
this manner ending with sl st in first sc to join.
Rnd 2: Sl st in next 2 sc, ch 3, dc in same place, * ch 1, sk next 2 sc, 2 dc in next sc, rep from * around
working 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in each corner and ending with sl st in top of first ch 3.
Rnd 3: Sl st to ch 1 sp, ch 6, sl st in 3rd ch from hk (picot), dc in same place, * ch 3, sc in next ch 1 sp,
