Blue Snowman Potholder
Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn 3 oz Blue (MC) & Small Amounts Red, White, Black and Pink
Crochet Hook Size G or 6
Approximate Size 7 1/2"
Note: When working designs, the unused yarn is dropped on wrong side to be picked up again when needed. When
picked up, allow generous amount of yarn to work pattern, approximately 1" for each st. Pattern is worked with
yarn from ball on first rnd, from the slack allowance on the 2nd rnd, from the ball on the 3rd rnd, etc.
To Change Colors: Work first color to last sc, start sc, pull new color through last 2 loops, drop first color to wrong
side.
Rnd 1: Work MC ch 29, sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 26 ch, 2 sc in last ch, work on other side of chain, sc in
each ch across, join with sl st in first sc. (56 sc)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc around, join with sl st in first sc.
Rnds 3-29: Rep Rnd 2 following chart for color changes to make design. If necessary, pull work to left to square up
potholder and straighten pattern.
Row 30: Hold front and back together, ch 1, sc through both thicknesses in each sc across.
Hanging Loop:
Ch 15, sl st in last sc, fasten off.
