Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn 3 ½ oz Skeins 19 Skeins Blue
Crochet Hook Size I or 5.50 mm
Approximate Finished Size 58 ½ “ x 72 ½ “
Ch 257.
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook; dc in next 6 ch, * sk next 2 ch, in next ch work 3 dc, ch 2, 3
dc–shell made; sk next 2 ch, dc in next 8 ch; rep from * across. Ch 3, turn.
Row 2: Skip first st, dc in front lp of next 7 dc, * work shell in ch-2 sp of shell, dc in front lp
of next 8 dc; rep from * across, working last dc in top of turning ch. Ch 3, turn.
Repeat row 2 until piece measures approximately 72 inches, omit ch 3 at end of last row;
do not turn.
Border:
With right side facing, ch 2, work 2 sc in last dc for corner, work sc evenly spaced along
side of afghan to next corner, work 3 sc in corner, sc in each st across bottom of afghan;
work 3 sc in corner, work sc evenly spaced along side of afghan to next corner, work 3 sc
in corner, work hdc in back lp of each st across top of afghan, join with sl st to first ch.
Fasten off.
